Today
one cannot imagine that a quality concrete is made without chemical
additives. ChemCom Industries B.V. contributed to this development with a
patented sulfonated melamine resin EP 0690083
PLASTYN®
40%
is
mainly used as a superplasticizer or high range water reducer.
Formulators, manufacturers of concrete additives, use
PLASTYN®
as
raw material for plasticizers with retarding, accelerating or air
entrainment effects.
PLASTYN®
35%
is directly used
in unarmoured-, reinforced- and presstressed concrete, gypsum
flooring and other application where gypsum is used. An
addition of 1-2 % gives the possibility to reduce water and achieve
higher compressive and flexural strength. By adding PLASTYN® the rheological and mechanical
properties of concrete such as workability self levelling effect are
improved.
PLASTYN® SP
is spray dried PLASTYN®
40 %
and is applied in dry mortar and cement- and gypsum kit. It is also
exported to areas where no liquid products are available. By
dissolving PLASTYN® SP in water, liquid admixtures are
created.
